When they showed the kiss between Joaquin and Archie in the promotional video for 3x05, I definitely thought it was cool and interesting to finally see Joaquin kissing someone again and Archie getting kissed by a boy for the first time ever.
Though, I'm honestly not as fascinated by it as I am by the kisses between Joaquin and Kevin. I actually felt so bad for Joaquin in that scene. He had to stab Archie to save his own life. He really felt so awful about it and he was even crying, and that was why he kissed Archie.
I'm not really a hardcore fan of KJ Apa/Archie nowadays. I used to have a crush on him, but it faded away since I'm currently way too head over heels in love with Rob Raco/Joaquin and Casey Cott/Kevin. (My crushes/obsessions change over time.) I have nothing against KJ at all though; I still like him as I still think he's a cool person, and I still think he's handsome.
Kevin has always been the one I ship Joaquin with the hardest, and vice versa. For so long I've been intensely in love with the chemistry between these two.
I absolutely hate that they took away the best Kevin ship ever which is Joavin.
I absolutely hate how they've done Joaquin so dirty. Rob Raco didn't deserve this.
I absolutely hate how they seem to care so little about Kevin and even have demonized his character. They seem to care more for Cheryl and Toni than Kevin and other queer guys.
They made Casey Cott officially a series regular after Season 1, yet they didn't even give Kevin a ton of screen time in Season 2. Kevin spent nearly the entire Season 2 being lonely and miserable. He could only find comfort in making out with random guys in Fox Forest. He also webcammed with a twenty-something year old online gigolo (as Kevin called him) who was psycho, creepy and shady af. He didn't even get a "love interest" until the end of Season 2. Then, during the first half of Season 3, Kevin had an ugly and icky relationship with Moose who wasn't even right for him. And then, when Moose left Kevin behind and moved to Glendale, Kevin joined a cult called The Farm where he got brainwashed and became the worst version of himself. All of Kevin's so-called friends never have time for him and his problems, and so he has to go through so much all on his own. It's no wonder he turned to the Farm, since Evelyn was the only one who listened to him and could empathize with him.
Casey Cott had said that Kevin would have his own storyline after 3x12, but AGAIN it seems as if the writers have tricked him. The Farm plot isn't only about Kevin, as some other characters are involved in it as well. And, they're still treating Kevin as a plot device in other characters' storylines, rather than giving him a storyline of his own.
I'm so fed up with this show. And, I won't be surprised if Casey decides to quit the show.
I've seen a picture of Kevin and Fangs dancing with each other at junior prom, but I heard that scene got cut from the latest episode.
I've also seen another cut scene from the latest episode in which Fangs practices his prom date proposal to Kevin, on Evelyn. Though, no one got to see Fangs giving his proposal to Kevin nor Kevin's reaction to it.
I do think Fangs is better than Moose, and that Kangs is better than Koose. I still miss Joaquin and Joavin though.
They showed Kevin and Joaquin dancing with each other in the homecoming episode, yet they cut out Kevin and Fangs dancing with each other from the prom episode. 🤦♀️
In the pilot episode: Kevin and Moose both attended the Semi-Formal (back-to-school dance), but they didn't dance with each other. Kevin danced with Veronica instead, as friends. Moose only propositioned Kevin in the bathroom and later tried to hook up with Kevin at the river, despite having a girlfriend at the time.
Kevin never went to a dance with Moose (which I'm not even disappointed about, since I don't ship Koose and I'm not a fan of Moose).
I genuinely think Kevin and Fangs look so cute together. 😍 And I'm glad Kevin went to the prom with Fangs instead of Moose. 😃
I'm so glad Kevin and Moose broke up, and Moose moved away. They weren't worthy of each other. (And I'm so glad Moose wasn't in the 'Heathers' musical episode nor the prom one.)
(In Season 3, Moose appeared in only six episodes, and Koose/Mevin were shown in only five of them. In Episode 3x12, Kevin and Moose's relationship developed a bit, but then it ended with Moose leaving town to live somewhere else...which didn't give them the chance to develop more on the romantic side of things.)
I'm also glad Kevin and Chic didn't happen. Chic was psycho, creepy and shady af.
And as for the random guys that Kevin made out with in the woods, I preferred them over Moose.
I still do miss Joaquin and Joavin all the time.
However, I feel more and more comforted, the more I remember these super special moments Kevin and Joaquin had together...
They had a heavy make out session at the drive-in on the night they first met. (1x04)
*Good thing they put on lots of chapstick!
They went to Jughead's birthday party together, and there they had another steamy make out session. (1x10)
