Riverdale would never kill off Jughead. He is the fan favourite. Yeah, many people don't believe that the writers will ever really kill off Jughead, since he's the author and narrator of the story of Riverdale, and plus he's a huge fan favorite. I've read these fan theories: - Souphead, Jughead's identical cousin, is the one who dies. (Souphead appears in the comics, but he has never appeared on the show.)
- All the flash-forward scenes are actually just visual excerpts of the story that Jughead is writing for his English class and/or the writing competition at his prep school.
- Jughead is just trying to convince someone that he's dead, so that he can attempt to catch the person who's been recording houses and leaving those videotapes on doorsteps.

I'm hearing rumors about Cole being absent from the Riverdale set as of late.
Has anyone found any sign of him on set lately?

Yesterday I found out that the 14th episode of Riverdale's Season 4 is called 'How To Get Away With Murder'. They haven't released a synopsis of this episode yet though, so I'll wait for that. Yesterday I saw on Camila Mendes' (Veronica) Instagram story that they were filming another scene in which Archie, Betty and Veronica are all splattered with blood. But, I notice that Cole/Jughead has stitches on his forehead in the latest behind-the-scenes stuff. I think this tells us that Jughead actually did get a bad head injury, and he survived from it.
