I cannot say I know how you feel, because I have not walked in your shoes. Trauma is powerful and can impact nearly every aspect of your life. Healing takes time and we all cope with it differently. As horrible as it sounds, sometimes you have to just forgive. That anger and resentment is fucking toxic for your soul to continue carrying around. It impedes on everything you do. You do not have to forget what happened - by any means - but forgive. That forgiveness will be for you. But again, I do not know what it was like; I just want you to be free from this. My therapist used to tell me to remove "never" and "always" from my thinking. She also used to tell me to challenge my negative thoughts and beliefs. I.e. some of our thinking is just rationalizing the irrational - however real it may seem. The truth is that the most difficult thing isn´t to forgive, it is to forget all the pain that they have caused you, in fact, I have forgiven, what I feel that I will not be able to do is forget, that pain remained like a big scar inside me, and I know that even if another person appears that makes me feel immensely happy again, a part of me will always feel the fear that it will happen again, and that is the saddest thing ... I would not like to hurt anyone because of my fears. Thank you for your words full of wisdom . That is a very good point. All I can say is I love and support you, and I am here for you.

That is really true. I do not want children that much for some of the same reasons. That, and I do not want to pass on anything bad to them or fuck them up with my crazy ass shit. Does that make sense?? In regards to our dreams and goals, failure is what we fear, by every form imaginable. Mostly, my fear of failing is related to being abandoned. Side note: night-terrors are actually the most freighting thing I've ever encountered. Waking up paralyzed in your bed in some foreign place, and then this "thing" moves towards you until it is on top of you. Fucking hell!! I like your sincerity, I like it because you always really say what you are thinking ... the fear of failure is present in all of us, but we have to try to forget that fear for a few minutes a day, because although seems a contradiction, fear also helps us to be stronger and achieve our goals, don't you think? I have never suffered from night terrors, and I cannot even imagine how bad that is, knowing myself I would do everything possible not to fall asleep and thus avoid those fears ... I am sorry to hear that this happens to you sweetie, I just hope and wish it doesn't happens to you often . I think so. Fear is a good motivator to get your ass in gear. It is only when fear becomes so great that it dominates you and prevents you from doing anything at all about your situation. I know when I get depressed, life becomes more about survival and less about moving towards any meaningful goals with a sense of purpose. Every day is like "damage control." I guess the trick is to challenge yourself to just meet small goals each day, which makes you feel a level of success and keeps you moving towards big long-term outcomes. It is like using the helping process for yourself.

Okay, I have had too much sugar and I should call it a night! Hope everyone is staying safe out there and doing well! I've been staying safe and doing well, and I hope the same for you too. Lately I've been re-watching Blue's Clues — mostly the Steve episodes. It's been calming my anxiety and lifting my spirits. Also, I'm looking to check out more of the reboot titled Blue's Clues & You! I don't know if you've ever seen or heard of Blue's Clues or not, but Steve was the first host of the show. Plus, I still have been keeping up-to-date on my current celebrity interests, listening to music, and practicing my Spanish language skills. I recently got a couple of new artistic works done and I'm looking to do more.

Indeed your work is done here! Btw, I remember seeing on YouTube a video edit of Steve from Blue's Clues in which he sounded like he was saying, "Sit down in our stinkin' chair and stink (*fart*), stink (*fart*), stink (*fart*) ..." 🎶 I tried to find the video again but couldn't. Though, here's the "Play Blue's Clues" song which contains the line, "Sit down in our thinking chair and think, think, think..."

Want to share one of your artistic works with me? Also, what sort of music are you listening to these days? I have heard of it, but never really watched it. I was more of a SpongeBob guy back in the day.

I also made these pieces of art:
I was born and raised in New Jersey, but I have Puerto Rican and Spanish blood and I am genuinely greatly proud of it.
Just simply showing pride in my Hispanic background...

Definition of "Boricua" → www.dictionary.com/browse/boricua

I've been thinking about trying to draw the flag of Spain. I think that it may take me a lot of time to draw its coat of arms.
For now here's this word art, "España" in the colors of the Spanish flag, that I made:

A variant:

I was more of a SpongeBob guy back in the day. I've inserted my pieces of art in my previous three posts on this thread. I'm looking to watch Rob Raco's movie Archons that got released last October and create an aesthetic collage about his character from that movie. I've been listening to mostly pop and R&B nowadays. I've also been listening to a few songs performed by Steve Burns (Steve from Blue's Clues). He is also a singer and musician; he even recorded a couple of albums. I've seen some Spongebob episodes. I also was a huge Rugrats fan back in the day, and I've been thinking about re-watching Rugrats as well.
