You are right, sometimes the places we think are our refuge, can turn against us, that is what happens to me when I go to the mountains on vacation, and the house has a few friends who have not been invited to the party, but .... they still wanted to be there (spiders, long-legged mosquitoes ... lol) Oh heck no!!! Not spiders and long-legged mosquitoes. Mosquitoes are like flying spiders to me. For me too ... and I can beat the record of 100 meters., if I see one very closely, the same for spiders ... now the person in charge of kill them is Guille .. this is passing from generation to generation, first it was my dad, then my brother, now Guille ... lol

I'm doing fine, just chilling. And how are you Bro? That's good to hear. I am also just chilling for a little - while I am supposed to be working! I am a terrible person. I am taking advantage of a situation. Thanks. I had a habit of procrastinating on homework when I was in school.

¡Hola Maria! Estoy bien.

THINKING OF THE DAY: Do you know?... sometimes it is better to live ignorant of everything or at least to try, because being informed of everything that is happening around you, in fucked up moments can affect you in a way that is better not to say ... I have heard of everything in these days of confinement, that we must isolate ourselves to protect ourselves from the virus, that we must go home because the place where we work cannot be opened, that if this can end in 15 days, that if it has to be lengthened fifteen days more, that perhaps in that time is not solved and we have to carry out a new extension ... there comes a time, when you no longer know what to think, is the government telling us whole truth? ... and if so, because it's like They try to hide facts ... maybe I'm going nuts, I don't know anymore, I just want this to be over soon .

Guys I have the typical day ploff, and I just want to be alone (nothing has happened, don't worry ... it's just that there are things that are a little bit beyond me.) Tomorrow I will feel better, promised. I love them so much!!!

I've been craving for pizza, subs, fast food, and ethnic foods (Asian, Mexican, Italian, etc). For now, we can only get those from the supermarket and cook them at home (but of course we wouldn't cook the cold cut subs). I can also make milkshakes, smoothies, and slushies. (I can use Kool-Aid mix to make slushies.) Buenos dias, Rikki! Mmmmm... Ñam Ñam Ñam (It really is screwed up wanting something and not being able to get it, fortunately we have many products in the supermarket within our reach, to try to elaborate those foods that we like so much, although perhaps it is not the same, right? Guille and I, we have been wishing for a delicious burger from the Burguer King for 15 days, but ... it is impossible, everything is closed, that is why I try to make them at home, and I swear, they are super good, I put of all, tomato, onion, pickle, lettuce, cheese, fried egg, bacon, mahonesa and of course the succulent hamburger ... jijiji... then along with the bread it hardly gives me my mouth to take a bite, but ... how delicious it is!!! ... Mmmmm ... Ñam Ñam Ñam) Yes, indeed, it sucks craving for restaurant food and not being able to go to restaurants. It may be hard to nail a restaurant taste at home, but in some cases the results can be pleasantly surprising. I like Burger King too. And, I would love to try a burger with fried egg, bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, and mayonnaise...this all sounds fantastic! Also... I love the donuts from Dunkin' Donuts, and I also have eaten some supermarket donuts that looked and tasted identical to the ones from Dunkin' Donuts. I love Nathan's, which is an American fast food chain that specializes in hot dogs. The supermarkets in my area sell hot dogs, french fries, onion rings, and many more of the Nathan's brand. They may also sell White Castle frozen burgers that we just have to heat up in the microwave before eating them. (White Caste is another American fast food chain.) In fact, I really like many fast food chains, including McDonald's. On YouTube, I have found many videos that demonstrate how to make restaurant food, including fast food, at home. Matt told me about In-N-Out Burger, which is a fast food chain on the west coast of the US. Then, since there is no In-N-Out Burger here on the east coast, I tried making In-N-Out's animal fries at home and I really liked how they tasted ... I would love to try making them again. And, I hope someday Matt tries making animal fries at home and compare them with the ones from the restaurant. Animal fries are french fries topped with slices of yellow cheese, sauteed onions, and In-N-Out's famous condiment. And, of course I'd love to try more restaurant food recipes. I also have eaten many homemade and store-bought foods that taste a lot like the restaurant ones...YUM YUM YUM!!! I recently ate pizza margherita (the frozen kind of the DiGiorno brand that we just have to heat up in the oven) and semi-homemade Red Lobster-style biscuits... I enjoyed them so much! (Red Lobster is an American restaurant chain that specializes in seafood.) My dad often searches recipes for ethnic dishes online and cooks them for dinner. And I think they are delicious too.

Thanks for this message, Rikki ... made me feel really better . The truth is that it is incredible the lot of fast food places that you guys have in the US, and although some of them or their similar you can find them in places like Madrid, Barcelona or Valencia, here where I live in Oviedo (Asturias), the most we have is Mc Donald´s, Burguer King or KFC ... then we have restaurants in the big shopping malls, Mexican food, Chinese food, and Italian food , but ... I assure you that nothing compared to what you guys have there . The truth is that I would love for there to be a Dunkin 'Donuts here, because I really love donuts, but ... I have to settle for the ones they sell at the supermarket. Btw, you should try the hamburger as I told you to make it, the fried egg gives it a different and special flavor, it is delicious ... You can also add a lot of onion (that I know as you like it) because it accepts all that you want to add, I assure . You know those potatoes remind me a lot to the McDonald's Top Fries DELUXE, and they're delicious .
