The Heart is Deceitful Above All Things (2004)
This film is one messed up depressing piece of cinema. I say check it out, but don't expect a good time. It centers around a kid and his drug addictive mother.

I've seen the movie several times, and I must say that although it is actually a pretty tough movie, also I have to admit, that the interpretation of Jimmy Bennett, Dylan and Cole Sprouse as the small / young Jeremiah, is really impressive.

yeah I know. I think people would be surprised to find out that before the suite life they were in this kind of movie. there are children out there who live like this sadly.

I usually don't watch "tough" movies like that, and I'm sure I would have never watched "The Heart is Deceitful Above All Things" if Dylan & Cole Sprouse hadn't acted in it. But I must say, I found it pretty thrilling with some impressive performances.

Seeing things like that should really make us realize and be more thankful for how well we're actually doing.

I've always believed that although they are very good making you smile, they are great dramatic actors, they deliver completely all themself, and reveal the great potential that as actors really have ... Yes it is sad that there are children out there who actually go through such dramatic situations in their home, no child should go through this.

I love that expression, says a lot about you, Colin ... always there that to feel fortunate what we have, because as you mentioned there is always someone who is worse ...

She made him feel like her mistakes were his fault. Such a shame. Dylan and Cole were also very sympathetic characters. They had such sweet innocent faces.

I cried a lot when I have seen the movie, I feel so sad by all what that poor Jeremiah went through, and I must admit that the three were so good playing the role that they thrilled me ...

Sadly Jeremiah probably grew up to become a criminal. Innocent children who grow up that way tend to not know any better. The sprouse boys are okay at comedy but after seeing this, I feel they're superb at serious roles.

Maybe he not became a criminal, although as you mentioned, he had many chances to be it because always went what he lived, but ... maybe it was not, and eventually became a good person, giving an example to most guys ... Dylan and Cole are awesome actors, they have shown in all the movies that have made, but ... like you, I would love to see them in a dramatic role showing all their potential.

I've seen that movie a few times. Yes it's sad, but I found Dylan and Cole's acting in it to be really impressive. They were truly talented actors... they could even play a serious role. I usually don't watch those kind of movies, and I probably would have never watched that movie if Dylan and Cole weren't in it. I admit that movie kinda reminds me of my childhood. From time to time, I was a victim of child abuse.

I always feel that it is so wrong to mistreat anyone... I really wish the world could be much more peaceful and violence-free.

Kings of Appletown. Cute little movie that never came to theaters. Sad! Didn't see it all yet.
